Founded in 1981, Metaltec Steel Abrasive Company is the only American steel shot producer to succeed in the manufacturing
of low carbon, Bainite cast steel shot.
In blasting applications the bainite microstructure of our steel shot is proven to wear better and last longer than other
common types of steel shot.
Our Employees
Many of the employees at Metaltec have been with us for 5 years or more. With the help of our highly trained staff we have
developed some of the most efficient processes in our industry. Our production, processing, shipping, maintenance and lab
